Similarly ‘Happy’ in the gata
“I am Meditating; I am Happy”
This is not happy like party poppers and disco dancing happy, or even sunshine and flowers happy. Even if you can’t be aware of your mind today, which is my definition of meditation, you can confirm that some of your needs are being met. That might be a really simple need like I am breathing, I have enough oxygen. I have eaten today, I am not hungry. Keep it simple and the conditions for happiness are all around us.
If you have managed to glimpse your mind if only for a part of one breath then you have been meditating. It is hard and so you should pat yourself on the back because you have done it. Mind is the trickiest bit of self but with repetition those glimpses become moments and so on.
